what is this blog’s purpose?
Currently, this is my personal, mostly skate and multimedia related, blog.
As I get older, I become more and more of a spectator in the world of skateboarding. By sharing some of the photos and video footage I’ve accumulated over the years, maybe I can remain a participant, even if only as a historian.
why the url “supersly.com”?
This guy Forest once called me “Eli Supersly.” I thought it was kind of funny. So back in 1999 or 2000 when I wanted a unique domain name, I chose “supersly.com” Since then it has seen a succession of half hearted attempts at portfolio pages, blogs etc.
do you youtube/twitter/facebook/myspace/blah blah blah?
Yes, I’ve been assimilated into the shambling digital mass of online social media. You can also watch/follow/befriend me on YouTube/Twitter. After a brief period of intense fascination with Facebook, I’ve pretty much ended that habit. Haven’t been on MySpace in a few years. If you want to connect, shoot me an email.
